      Hi Madhu,

      To explain how to play the 2 lines-
      Tha Thi Thaam Thadi
      ThaThiThom Thaam Thadi

      Tha - played on big head, centre
      Thi - played on small head, centre
      Thaam - Ara (Half) Chaapu (http://www.angelfire.com/mb/mridhangam/phototour.html#araichapu)
      Thadi - Tha & thi in succession
      Thom - played on big head, edge

    Also Thaam is "Cha", correct? I am a beginner and learning mritangam from online, so please forgive my ignorance.
